This piece, Filling Time and Space, is going to be hanging in the @sanfranciscogallery in Show Stoppers starting on Friday! This is my nautilus and quilt feather block printed in white oil-based printing ink over a watercolor and gouache painting. I am so excited to show my work alongside so many brilliant artists. I carved her years ago the first time I participated in #carvedecember lead by Julie of @balzerdesigns every winter, at the very beginning of my #stampcarving journey. This house was built 2 years ago and we’ve lived here that long, and I am so in love with our neighborhood and our neighbors on our block. We pooled our fireworks this year for the 4th, and my nieces joined us as well. Love love love our community. We celebrate what we love, and work for a better tomorrow. #elkgroveca

Finding out that you can drypoint etch into this Tetra Pak coated paper carton stuff and actually print it is amazing!
